Returns & Exchanges - Natural History

Natural History accepts returns and exchanges started within 14 days of receipt of the item. First time returns and exchanges get free shipping. Items must be unworn with their original tags attached, and original packaging is preferred. After 14 days, we are happy to return the item, but for store credit only. All items older than 30 days are final sale. Please note that all international purchases are final sale and the free shipping/exchanges does not apply. EXCHANGES

We'd love to help you find the right size and style for you if the first one didn't work out. That said, please try to get the right size the first time, as we are a small, made-to-order brand and each order costs us. We are happy to help if you want to reach out to us before ordering with size, style, or fit questions at hello@ournaturalhistory.com.

To begin an exchange, please submit a return request first by logging in or creating a new customer account hereYou are welcome to place an order a new piece(s) at any time, but may prefer to wait until we have received and refunded you for your returned item.

If this is your first purchase with us, we are happy to pay for your return shipping (to ship the item back to us, as well as your original shipping cost). For all future returns, the shipping fee will be deducted from the total when we process your refund. We are happy to email you a shipping label for your first return to make the process easier.

Natural History has the right to deny a refund if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements (clean, unworn, and with tags still attached. Original packaging is preferred).

RETURNS

Refunds will be issued using the same method through which you purchased (credit card or PayPal, etc). We will process your return as soon as possible, but depending on your bank, please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed and up to two billing cycles for the return to appear on your credit card statement.

HOW TO SUBMIT A RETURN REQUEST

Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

1. Log in to your account: 
    1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
    2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
    3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request return. 

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

SHIPPING

Items are shipped via the USPS or UPS. Natural History is not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, or other courier delays. Shipping costs for international locations will be calculated at checkout based on location. Please note that once the item is shipped, Natural History has no control over shipping, including customs delays and charges. Customs fees are determined by the policy of each individual country and are not the fault of the sender or carrier. Natural History is not responsible for payment of any duty or import fees.

*Important international shipping note* Please note that due to worldwide COVID-19 delays, international shipping is still exceptionally slow and/or expensive in some places. Because of this, all international purchases (outside the US) are final sale. Thank you for your understanding!
